Top Card Trumps is a Platipus table game based on a highest-card duel against the dealer. It uses six standard decks reshuffled after every round and allows up to three hands at once. The main choices are the Ante, optional Tie Bet and the Fold or War decision when the first cards tie.
The game uses a polished casino-table setting with cards, dealer play and a luxury-room atmosphere. The focus stays on the dealt cards and the active hands.
The layout is practical for quick rounds, showing the Ante, optional side bet and result decisions clearly.
The player places an Ante to start a hand. A Tie Bet can be added before the deal, paying 10:1 if the first player card matches the dealer card.
Cards are dealt face up. A higher player card wins 1:1, and a lower card loses the Ante.
The result is decided by card rank. Higher card beats lower card, and ties open a separate decision point.
The Tie Bet is separate from the Ante. It only pays when the first card is the same rank as the dealer card.
On a tie, the player can Fold and take back half the Ante. The other choice is War, which doubles the bet, burns three cards and deals another card.
In War, beating or matching the dealer's second card claims the win. Playing up to three hands adds more decisions within the same round.
The game outcome is driven by card rank, Ante size, optional Tie Bet and War decisions. Payouts include 1:1 on a winning Ante and 10:1 on a successful Tie Bet.
Place the Ante, decide whether to add a Tie Bet and let the cards deal face up. If the first cards tie, choose between taking half the Ante back or entering War.
